Cancelled flights on Dec. 25, 26 due to typhoon ‘Nina’

Several domestic and international flights on Dec. 25 and 26 have been cancelled due to bad weather caused by typhoon “Nina” (international name: Nock-Ten).

In its latest advisory, the state weather bureau said Nina maintained its strength as it headed toward the Bicol region, where it is expected to make landfall on Sunday afternoon or evening. Storm warning signals were raised in 38 areas.

The following Philippine Airlines (PAL) flights have been cancelled:

For Dec. 25 (Sunday)

For Dec. 26 (Monday)

PAL said affected passengers may rebook their tickets within 30 days from the original date of departure without penalty, or refund their ticket in full.

The airlines advised affected guests to call their hotline at 855-888 or visit the nearest PAL ticketing office.

Cebu Pacific and charter airline Air Juan earlier announced the cancellation of flights scheduled on Dec. 25 and 26.

The following Cebu Pacific flights scheduled on Christmas Day have been cancelled:

Cebu Pacific said affected passengers may rebook their flight within 30 days from the original departure date or opt for full refund or travel fund.
