Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo sworn in Cesar Montano as the new Tourism Promotions Board COO.

Montano took his oath of office before Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo.

Teo received Montano’s appointment paper on December 7. The actor was appointed to the post by President Duterte.

Montano will handle domestic and international marketing and promotion of the Philippines as a major global tourism destination.

The actor is one of the showbiz personalities appointed by the President to government posts. Other celebrities were Aiza Seguerra, Liza Dino, and Arnell Ignacio.
