Suspected vehicle smuggler placed on Immigration watchlist

MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Justice (DoJ) has ordered the Bureau of Immigration (BI) to include on its watchlist suspected used-vehicle smuggler Lynard Allan Bigcas.

The Bureau of Immigration is an agency attached under the Department of Justice.

Bigcas, a resident of Houston, Texas, was tagged in the alleged smuggling of 29 luxury cars and big bikes.

The FBI has confirmed that so far, 11 of those vehicles, including the Martin Brothers Harley Davidson Big Dog Bike of Hollywood screenwriter Skip Woods, were stolen.

The search for Woods’ $80,000 bike led to the discovery of the luxury vehicles in Mindanao.—Tetch Torres
