Robredo: Filipinos should be united despite disagreements

Vice President Leni Robredo said Sunday there are more reasons Filipinos should stay united despite the many misunderstandings and problems besetting the country.

“We would want a quiet, peaceful, happy and auspicious Christmas for all Filipinos… Hopefully, in the coming days, we will see what is good in our country and not the disagreements,” Robredo said in Filipino in an interview with reporters.

“Amid all the differences, there are more reasons why we have to stay united,” she said.
