3 drug dens busted in Pampanga capital

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Three drug dens have been dismantled at a resettlement site in this Pampanga capital.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Philippine Army arrested suspected operators Glenn Sison, May Flor Lam-an and Senen Reyes in raids conducted in Northville 14 in Barangay (village) Calulut here on Wednesday (Dec. 7). Two other men were arrested but their identities have not been released.

Shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) worth P289,800 and drug paraphernalia were seized from the suspects, who were detained in a PDEA jail inside Camp Olivas, the base of the Central Luzon police.

They were charged for violating Republic Act No. 9165 (the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), said Juvenal Azurin, PDEA Central Luzon director.  SFM
