Brazilian bride dies in helicopter crash on way to her wedding
Walking down the aisle is a childhood dream for most women. But sadly for Rosemere do Nascimento Silva, what should have been her moment of bliss never materialized as she died in an accident while on her way to her wedding.
The 32-year-old bride was supposed to surprise her fiancé Udirley Damasceno and 300 guests by arriving at the venue in the grounds of Recanto Beija-Flor in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in a helicopter.
Accompanied by her brother, a pregnant photographer and the pilot, Silva went on the aerial journey that should have taken just 15 minutes.
However, tragedy struck, as the aircraft crashed just one mile away from the matrimonial site and instantly killed everyone on board.
Silva, who was a nurse by profession, was found dead while wearing her wedding gown and veil.
