CAMP GENERAL ALEJO S SANTOS — A policeman formerly assigned to an anti-drug unit and two other people were killed on Tuesday in a clash with the police in Bulacan’s San Miguel town.

PO3 Marjo Sidayen, Michael Taradel, and John Albert Apoderado died during the 6 p.m. encounter with San Miguel policemen at Apoderado’s house in Barangay (village) Tigpalas.

The three men allegedly fired at the policemen who were responding to a tip that a pot session was taking place inside Apoderado’s home.

Sidayen had been absent without leave from the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of the San Miguel police station. Taradel and Apoderado were on several drug watch lists. Police recovered three caliber .38 pistols and shabu at the crime scene. JE
