CA panel recommends confirmation of DICT Secretary Salalima

A panel of the Commission on Appointments (CA) has recommended for confirmation the ad interim appointment of Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Rodolfo Salalima.

No member of the CA’s committee on transportation and communications objected when a motion to recommend Salalima’s confirmation was made on Wednesday.

The committee’s recommendation will be transmitted to the CA plenary for further actions.

Aside from Salalima, three other Cabinet members are set to face their confirmation hearings before the CA.

The three are Tourism Secretary Wanda Corazon Tulfo-Teo, National Economic and Development Authority Secretary Ernesto Pernia and Health Secretary Paulyn Jean Roseli-Ubial. IDL
