Internet cafe killing

An unsatisfied customer allegedly shot dead a 31-year-old computer technician of an Internet cafe in Manila at around 11:30 a.m. yesterday. Investigators are looking into revenge over a petty quarrel as the motive behind the killing of Dennis Magnayon, a stay-in employee of the Chatter Internet Café at the corner of Ayala Boulevard and San Marcelino St. in Ermita. Magnayon died instantly from four bullet wounds in the head and the body. Police Officer 3 Jupiter Tajonera said that before the shooting, Magnayon was manning the cash register when the door to the shop opened and a man pulled out a gun, fired repeatedly at the victim and fled. Tajonera revealed that prior to the shooting Magnayon had a heated argument with a customer over the payment. Jeannette I. Andrade
