Ronnie Dayan and Kerwin Espinosa have arrived at the Senate for the resumption of the ongoing investigation on the November 5 killing of the latter’s father, Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr.
Dayan and Kerwin arrived about two hours before the 9:00 am scheduled resumption of the hearing of the Senate committee on public order and dangerous drugs, chaired by Senator Panfilo Lacson, this Monday.
It will be the first time that the two, who have implicated Senator Leila de Lima in illegal drugs, will face each other at a congressional inquiry.
Dayan, De Lima’s former driver and partner, already appeared before the House of Representatives’ committee on justice, where he claimed to have allegedly collected money for her from Kerwin five times in 2014.
Kerwin, meanwhile, earlier testified before Lacson’s committee that he gave money to then Justice Secretary De Lima through Dayan in the latter part of 2015 and early part of 2016.
De Lima vehemently denied the allegations of Dayan and Kerwin. CBB
