MMDA, LTO join forces vs drunk, drugged drivers

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has tapped the Land Transportation Office (LTO) for a stricter implementation of the Anti-Drunk and Drugged Driving Act of 2013 or Republic Act No. 10586.

A memorandum of agreement was signed by the two agencies on Thursday, the MMDA said in a Facebook post.

About 50 traffic enforcers from the MMDA have undergone training and deputization by the LTO for the enforcement of the RA 10586.
