Tropical storm “Marce” (international name Tokage) grounded 27 domestic flights on Friday.
According to the Manila International Airport Authority, among those cancelled were: Cebu Pacific flights 5J 513 and 5J 514 Manila-San Jose-Manila, and 5J 821 and 5J 822 Manila-Virac-Manila; and Cebu Pacific-Tiger Airways (Cebgo) flights DG 6223 and DG 6224 Manila-Caticlan-Manila, DG 6225 and DG 6226 Manila-Caticlan-Manila, DG 6227 and DG 6228 Manila-Catican-Manila, DG 6233 and DG 6234 Manila-Caticlan-Manila, as well as DG 6245 and DG 6246 Manila-Caticlan-Manila.
Also grounded were: Philippine Airlines Express flights 2P 2203 and 2P 2204 Manila-Roxas-Manila, 2P 2043 and 2P 2044 Manila-Caticlan-Manila, 2P 2041 and 2P 2042 Manila-Caticlan-Manila, 2P 2053 and 2P 2054 Manila-Caticlan-Manila, and 2P 2033 and 2P 2034 Manila-Busuanga-Manila; as well as Skyjet flights M8 181 and M8 182 Manila-Caticlan-Manila, as well as M8 183 Manila to Caticlan.
Marce has maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 100 kilometers per hour.
Tropical cyclone warning signal No. 2 was raised over the Calamian group of islands, Cuyo Island, southern Occidental Mindoro, and southern Oriental Mindoro.
TCWS 1 was hoisted over the rest of Occidental Mindoro and Oriental Mindoro, northern Palawan, Romblon, Aklan, and Antique./rga
