Dayan:  Sex video with De Lima? Can’t recall

MANILA — Ronnie Dayan, the ex-paramour of Sen. Leila De Lima, has denied taking a sex video of his encounters with the senator and former justice secretary.

Dayan was questioned by two lawmakers at the House justice committee hearing on the illegal drug trade inside the New Bilibid Prison.

First to ask him was Parañaque City Rep. Gus Tambunting, who questioned him upfront if it was true that there was a sex video of him and De Lima.

“It’s not true that we had a sex video, I don’t recall that we took a video,” he said.

Asked on the possibility that there might be a sex video taken but not with his camera phone, Dayan said: “There might be.”

Later in the afternoon, Pangasinan Rep. Leopoldo Bataoil asked him anew about the alleged viral sex video of the two ex-lovers.

“There is no truth to that sir. If there’s any, it did not come from my cell phone,” Dayan told Bataoil.

Earlier, Dayan admitted to having a seven-year relationship with De Lima, his former boss, despite his being married.

President Duterte has alleged that De Lima tapped Dayan as her collector of drug protection money from high-profile convicts who have been trafficking drugs from the New Bilibid Prisons.  SFM
