23 nabbed in ‘pot session’ in Laguna
LOS BAÑOS, Laguna – Twenty three people were arrested while allegedly taking illegal drugs in Biñan City in Laguna province on Wednesday, police said Thursday.
A report from the Laguna police office said the arrest was made inside an abandoned house in Barangay (village) Canlalay around 2:45 p.m. while the suspects were having a “pot session.”
The arrested suspects were identified as Ariel Laurente, Erlon Danao, Jason Trinidad, Ruben Galora, Enrico Nazareno, Erwin Cabatingan, Jose Jay Rimas, Alvin Alfonso, Wilmark Hebron, Jobert Silva, Harley Quion, Jose Erwin Martinez, Jerry Kunanan, Jennefer Suzara, Roan Doria, Ralf Abad, Peter Lopez, Lorenz Verano, Jeffrey Ejada, Jayson Olarino, Ariel Tanedo, Jan Francis Militar and Froilan Ponayo. None of them was included in the police watchlist for illegal drugs.
The police recovered at least three sachets of suspected “shabu” along with drug paraphernalia. CDG
