The state weather bureau is tracking a low pressure area that could possibly intensify into a tropical cyclone.
The weather disturbance was last observed 675 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, located inside the Philippine area of responsibility, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Wednesday.
Pagasa said there is a possibility that the LPA will intensify into a tropical cyclone as it remained at sea.
Cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms can be expected over Caraga, Davao region and the province of Southern Leyte.
Light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of Visayas, rest of Mindanao and Bicol region. CDG
