534 pass chemical engineering licensure exam

A total of out of 534 examinees passed the recent licensure examination for chemical engineers, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday.

The University of the Philippines Diliman and Los Baños campuses emerged as top-performing schools after recording 95.71% and 90.20% passing rates, respectively.

The PRC requires at least 50 examinees and 80-percent passing rate for a school to be declared as top-performing.

Clarence Joseph Uy Co of De La Salle University topped the exam with an 85.50-percent score. Registration of successful examinees in Manila is set on Dec. 1 and 2.
