LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines — At least two people were hurt when fire razed the armory of the Masbate provincial police headquarters in Masbate City on Tuesday morning, police said.
Initial reports gathered by the Inquirer from the police, firefighters and volunteer groups said the fire that hit Camp Bonny Serrano was followed by explosions that injured two unidentified persons living near the camp shortly before 2 a.m.
The fire was put out after about two hours.
The fire damaged the camp’s supply room and the offices of the National Police Commission, Police Community Relations Branch, Women’s and Children’s Desk and the crime laboratory. CBB
