MANILA — Three drug suspects were shot dead by motorcycle-riding assailants in Pateros and Pasay City on Friday and Saturday night, police said.

Paul Xzerome Bono Parcon, 25, was shot near his residence in Barangay 183, Zone 20, Villamor, on Saturday about 9:50 p.m., SPO1 Giovanni Arcinue said.

Parcon was sitting in front of their house when four men on two motorcycles arrived and one of the back riders shot him.

The victim was brought by relatives to Air Force General Hospital where he died from multiple gunshot wounds at 10:22 p.m.

Police said Parcon was on the barangay and the precinct drug watch list. Five casings and four slugs from a .45-pistol were recovered from the crime scene.

On Friday, around 10:20 p.m., Benedicto Santos, 49, driver, was playing cards with a mechanic, Louie Aberilla, 42, when they were shot on Tramo Street, Barangay 99, Zone 14.

Three motorcycle-riding gunmen barged into Santos’ house and fired successive shots, killing Aberilla on the spot, SPO1 Dennis Desalisa said.

Santos was brought to the Pasay City General Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival at 10:35 p.m.

Barangay councilor Rommel Hernandez said Santos was a known drug pusher who ignored requests to submit himself to authorities under Oplan Tokhang.

Crime scene operatives retrieved nine shells of a .45-pistol and a sachet of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride).

In Pateros, four men wearing masks shot Adrian Lanuzo near the Dela Paz Chapel on Saturday, at 7:50 p.m., SPO1 Jovito Labine said.

The gunmen missed and Lanuzo was able to run but he was cornered in a house on E. Hermosa Street, Barangay San Roque.
