Senator Panfilo Lacson believes that it would be better for the Philippines if Democrat Hillary Clinton wins the US elections.
“I think it would be better for the Philippines, sa Philippines-US relations, kung si Secretary Clinton yung mananalo. But that’s me,” Lacson told reporters on Wednesday.
He said Clinton could use her “expertise” in foreign policy to deal with long-standing allies like the Philippines.
“Kasi exposed na s’ya being a former Secretary of State, tapos dating senator, dating First Lady,” he added.
Hillary is married to former US President Bill Clinton.
“Sa tingin ko, she can handle better yung foreign policy ng Amerika. Syempre national interest natin yung inuuna natin,” Lacson added. CBB
