CEBU CITY — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas (PDEA-7) arrested a 28-year-old woman and seized P32 million worth of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in a drug bust inside her condomonium unit in Sitio Banawa, Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City, on Tuesday afternoon.

Maria Del Mar, an alleged big-time drug pusher, is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002, particularly for selling illegal drugs.

The offense is non-bailable.

PDEA-7 spokesperson Leia Albiar said Del Mar sold a pack of shabu to an undercover PDEA agent.

When the transaction was completed, she was immediately arrested by the other operatives who were deployed in the area past 3 p.m.

Inside her room were about two kilos of shabu valued at P32 million, Albiar said.

Del Mar is currently detained at the PDEA-7 stockade.  SFM
