Initial result: Detectives of Northern Leyte  Criminal Investigation and Detection Group 8 (CIDG 8) led by Chief Insp. Leo Laraga together with RMU 8 as participating unit implemented two search warrants inside the subprovincial jail at Barangay Hipusngo, Baybay City, Leyte, in which a firefight ensued between the suspects (subject of the search warrant) and the

CIDG 8 operatives that resulted to the death of the said suspects namely:

1) Rolando Espinosa alias “Daddy Onik” and

2) Raul Yap alias “Bos Raul”

The raiding team is now securing the crime scene and waiting for Soco 8 to arrive for processing the crime scene. Progress report will follow.
