SOME of the world’s most talented women’s billiards aces will participate in this year’s Women’s World 10-Ball Championship which starts on Nov. 2 at the Robinsons Galleria in Ortigas.
Former world 10-ball champion Rubilen Amit will lead the Philippine campaign against heavyweights like Allison Fisher of England, Ga Young Kim of Korea, Siming Chen of China, Koreans Erica Eunji Park and Yu Ram Cha and defending world champion Jasmin Ouschan of Austria.
This year’s tournament is sponsored by Yalin Tables.
The Women’s World 10-Ball Championship is also sponsored by ABS-CBN Sports, Robinsons Galleria, Predator Cues, Pool & Billiard Magazine, Top147.com, Simonis Cloth, Aramith Balls, Magic 89.9 and Crown Plaza Galleria Ortigas.
The event, promoted by Dragon Promotions, will be aired locally on ABS-CBN and internationally on ESPN Star Sports. The event’s matches will be broadcast live while stories, information and updates will be available at www.WomensWorld10Ball.com.
