The Hiroshi Football Club (FC) leads the men’s open division after winning its second match in the Cebu Amateur Football Club (CAFC)  11th National Interclub Football Cup yesterday at the University of San Carlos-Technological Center (USC-TC) football field.

Hiroshi edged Count FC, 2-1, to become the current leader of the division with two wins and no loss.

Harold Buot found a hole in the defense of Count FC to drive in a goal in the 34th minute.

Julito Lucanias completed Hiroshi’s win with a goal just four minutes before the break.

Trailing Hiroshi at the second spot is Waterfresh Queen City United (QCU) after tallying three points with its 6-1 win over San Roque Royal United (SRRU).

Julius Acre led the scoring spree with a goal in the 8th and 45th minutes of the ballgame.

AdC and Abellana National School (ANS) Pomeroy ended with a point apiece after ending their match in a scoreless draw.

AdC’s boys 12-Under counterpart did better with a 7-0 demolition of the USC-NC at the Springdale football field. The second match saw Canduman FC streaking past VDR2 FC, 3-1.

In the players 10 at Springdale,  SRRU became the current leader after a 4-2 win over QCU.
