Five young storytellers made it to the #MyInquirer Read-Along Festival storytelling competition finals after hurdling the semifinal round held on Saturday afternoon at the Inquirer main office.

The finalists are: Raiza Meñale (Antonio Regidor Elementary School), Abbygail Parma (St. Alphonsus Liguori Integrated School), Keveen Kence Sy Suan (Chiang Kai Shek College), Jemimah Rose Pestaño (Optimus Center for Development) and Kean Railey Chan Huan (Chiang Kai Shek College).

The board of judges for the semifinal round are Rich Rodriguez (chair) and Posh Develos of Ang Pinoy Storytellers, and Read-Along team members Grig Montegrande and Rafael Antonio.

Thirty five students from seven schools in Metro Manila joined the elimination round, while eleven students made it to the semifinals.

The #MyInquirer Read-Along Festival, co-presented with Metrobank Foundation, will be held on Nov. 11 and 12 at the Inquirer main office. The storytelling competition finals will be held on Day 2 of the Festival from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
