Palea doubts PAL operations back to normal

/ 04:29 PM October 25, 2011

MANILA, Philippines—While the Philippine Airlines (PAL) management has claimed that the airline’s operations have normalized in time for All Saints’ Day, members of the Philippine Airlines Employees Association (Palea) said they doubt this, a report from Radyo Inquirer 990AM said Monday.

According to Palea vice president Alnem Pretencio, this advisory is likely a part of PAL’s marketing strategy in order to win back the people’s trust after the flag carrier has outsourced some services.

Pretencio added that it would not be that easy to return to full operations as he claimed that PAL had hired workers who lacked experience.—Ruel Perez
