Three public schools in Metro Cebu can now hold computer classes after acquiring new computers.
Last Oct. 19, the Cebu Home and Builders Centre (CHBC) donated four desktop computers each to Hipodromo Elementary School in Cebu City, Bulacao Community School in Pardo, Cebu City and Pajo Elementary School in Lapu-Lapu City.
“This is the company’s way of helping the school administrators elevate the quality of education for their students,” the CHBC said in its press statement.
Principals of the schools as well as teachers and students thanked the staff and management of CHBC for sharing their blessings.
“We are grateful to Cebu Home and Builders Centre for this blessing. Our dream of acquiring computers has now become real. We can now start our computer class after the semestral break,” said Bulacao Community School ICT coordinator Izel Gladys Malatamban, in her acceptance speech.
The hardware company, which operates in Mandaue, Mactan and Pardo, does not only help people build a better house, but also committed to help build the future of the students in the community.
