Various local government units have announced the suspension of classes on Monday, Oct. 17, due to bad weather caused by typhoon “Karen” (international name: Sarika).

Karen slightly weakened on Sunday morning as it crossed the rugged terrain of Central Luzon. It is expected to leave the Philippine area of responsibility on Monday morning.
