Team Metta wins men’s title

TEAM METTA, manned by the vaunted Ting Ledesma, Joseph Cruz and Lauro Crisostomo, won the men’s division title in the 10th Hua Ching Foundation Invitational Table Tennis Tournament at the Clotilde Building in barangay Kasuntingan, Mandaue City over the weekend.

Finishing second place is Team LOPTTA B composed of Mark Jimenez and Celjun Ortalla. Coming in at third were host team and the defending champion Hua Ching Foundation of Julius Delposo, Hussein Muhamad and Michael Paña.

In the scholars team event, team TRUDEL of Adolfo Bazar and Christian Vicente emerged champion.

METTA of Walden Shane Ledesma and Gerald Cristobal finished second while  Hua Ching, which was composed of Genesis Dapa, Christian Abandan,  Elmer Flores and Ryan Sy, placed third.  /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
