CEBU CITY – A suspected drug pusher was shot dead by unidentified men at Barangay Canduman, Mandaue City, on Wednesday.

Rodelito Miao, a 38-year-old resident of Sitio Sunflower Canduman Housing, sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the head and body at past 2 a.m.

Chief Insp. Aldrin Villacampa of the Canduman police precinct said the victim woke up when one of the four assailants called him to come outside. Upon stepping outside, Miao was greeted with gunfire.

Miao surrendered during an Oplan Tokhang last July. Tokhang is a police house-to-house campaign to convince known drug pushers and users to surrender to the police and undergo rehabilitation.
