Monsoon rain will continue in the western section of Northern and Central Luzon, the state weather bureau said on Tuesday.

“Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila and the regions of Calabarzon, Cordillera, Ilocos, Central Luzon, Zamboanga Peninsula, Soccsksargen, Davao and the province of Occidental Mindoro and Palawan,” the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, meanwhile, will prevail over the rest of the country.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over the northern and eastern sections of Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough, Pagasa said.

Light to moderate winds coming from the southwest to southeast will prevail over the rest of Luzon and coming from the west to northwest over the rest of the archipelago with slight to moderate seas. CBB
