A magnitude 4.1 earthquake jolted off Batangas province on Saturday afternoon, state seismologists said.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake occurred 21 kilometers west of Calatagan town at 3:32 p.m.
Phivolcs said the tremor had a depth of 103 km.
The agency said intensity II was felt in the Calatagan, Oriental Mindoro and Puerto Galera. Intensity I was felt in Tagaytay City.
No damages were immediately reported and no aftershocks were expected.
