LPA seen east of Northern Luzon

MANILA, Philippines – A low pressure area was seen 1,170 kilometers east of extreme northern Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Monday.

Meanwhile, the whole country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening, it added.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the east over Mindanao, Pagasa said.

The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate, it also said.
