Former aide of Senator Leila De Lima will appear in Congress to testify on her relationship with her former driver Ronnie Dayan, Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said in a press conference on Wednesday.

Aguirre said there is no more need for the sex video to establish De Lima’s alleged intimate relationship with her driver.

The justice chief said Jonelle Sanchez’ testimony is limited to De Lima’s relationship with Dayan.

Aguirre said part of his testimony was about how he and the other security of De Lima fiddled with Dayan’s mobile phone and discovered an intimate video.

“Kasi sinabi ni Jonelle na nakita nya. Naiwan ata ni Dayan ang cellphone nya kaya pinakialaman ng mga security at may nakita silang video (Jonelle said he saw the sex video. Dayan might have left his cellphone so Jonelle and the other security of De Lima fiddled with it and they saw a sex video),” Aguirre said.

Based on the testimony of convict Herbert “Ampang” Colanggo, Sanchez became a conduit of the money intended for De Lima.

However, Aguirre said Sanchez has limited his testimony and did not respond to any of the allegations that he was a conduit or recipient of drug money from the Bilibid. RAM
