FOUR persons were injured in separate shooting incidents in Danao and Madaue cities.
Micheal Ortiga, a jeepney barker, was shot in the body by a fellow barker following an argument inside a terminal in barangay Poblacion, Danao last Saturday morning.
The suspect, Felix Billona, 41, was arrested after the shooting.
Police said Ortiga was busy calling passengers at past noon when Billona arrived.
Police said the two men were seen arguing before Billona drew a .357 revolver and shot Ortiga.
Responding policemen arrested Billona, while Ortiga was rushed to the Danao District Hospital.
Police said a hunting knife and a 357 revolver were recovered from Billona, who will be charged with frustrated homicide.
In barangay Ibo, Jocelou Labador was shot while riding a motorcycle driven by his brother at 7 p.m. last Saturday.
Police said the motorcycle passed in front of a basketball court when Labador was shot in the back allegedly by Jeffrey Matugas.
Labador was brought to the Danao District Hospital then moved to a hospital in Cebu City.
The suspect fled after the shooting.
In barangay Jagobiao, Mandaue, a gang member and his friend were shot by a motorcycle-riding assailant while walking along road around 2 a.m. yesterday.
Francis Nino Armenton, 19, who is reportedly a member of the Bloods gang, and Francis Marata, 18, sustained gunshot wounds in their bodies.
Police said the unidentified assailant stopped near the victims and without a word opened fire.
