The Supreme Court joins the country in mourning the death of former Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago.

“The Supreme Court mourns with the nation the passing of former Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago, offers its prayers for comfort for her loved ones,” the high court said.
It recognized the senator’s contribution to law as a scholar, professor, author and lawmaker.
