Local governments in the provinces of Rizal and Bulacan have suspended classes on Sept. 28, 2016, due to heavy rain early Wednesday and the forecast of more rain.
The class suspensions followed a heavy rainfall warning released by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) at 1 a.m.
At 7 a.m., the PAGASA released Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 3 raising the Yellow warning over #MetroManila, #Bulacan, #Bataan, #Rizal & #Cavite. It warned of flooding in low lying areas.
Classes have been suspended in the following areas/towns:
Metro Manila
- Malabon
- Navotas
Antipolo City
Rizal
- Rodriquez – all levels public and private
- San Mateo – all levels public and private
- Taytay
- Cainta
Bulacan
- Meycauayan
- Marilao
- Bocaue
