/ 03:24 AM September 26, 2016

NATIONAL Tourism Week is celebrated every last week of September by virtue of Proclamation No. 894 signed on Oct. 3, 1996, by then President Fidel Ramos. The celebration coincides with the annual observance of Sept. 27 as Tourism Day, declared by the World Tourism Organization and Proclamation No. 1942 signed in 1980.
