CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—A campaign discouraging the use of mobile telephones while driving has rolled into northern and central Luzon.

LausAutoGroup, one of the largest car dealer networks in the country, has mounted the “Save Lives, Save Yours, Obey the Law,” an information drive about the Anti-Distracted Driving Act or Adda (Republic Act No. 10913).

The campaign aims to bring down the reported 1,290 cases of motorists caught driving while using their telephones from 2010 to 2012 nationwide, said Levy Laus, chair and chief executive officer of LausAutoGroup.
