BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya—A 38-year-old man who surrendered to authorities last month for alleged drug use, was shot dead on Friday morning (Sept. 23) in Bambang town.
Fratz Winter Tan was talking to a tricycle driver at the roadside in Barangay Banggot when two men on board a motorcycle shot him as they drove past at 7:20 a.m., according to Chief Insp. Rafael Cabonitalia, Bambang police chief.
Tan, who died from bullet wounds on the head and torso, was supposedly listed as the sixth most wanted suspect for drug peddling in the province, before he surrendered.
Citing police data, Cabonitalia said the victim continued selling drugs after his surrender. CDG/rga
