Kidnapped businesswoman rescued in Sulu

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A kidnapped businesswoman in Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte on Sunday was rescued in Indanan, Sulu on Wednesday morning.
Brigadier General Arnel dela Vega, commander of Joint Task Group Sulu, confirmed the recovery of 60-year-old Tina Yee by elements of the 35th Infantry Battalion in Kajatian village, Indanan town.
“She was rescued in an operation and is now undergoing medical check up here prior to her transport to Zamboanga City,” Dela Vega told the Inquirer thru text message.
Yee was kidnapped at her own hardware store in Sirawai poblacion, Sirawai town Zamboanga del Norte on Sunday afternoon. CDG
