CLARK FREEPORT — Workers coming from the provinces in northern and central Luzon and seeking employment abroad need not travel to Metro Manila anymore to obtain their job documents.
An OFW (overseas Filipino worker) One-Stop Shop (OOSS) is now open to serve them at Clark Polytechnic, 2 kilometers from Clark International Airport (CRK) here.
The OOSS offers convenience to migrant workers to secure their documents and promotes the full use of CRK, which is being proposed as the best alternative to the congested Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City.
Domestic and foreign airlines have begun transferring equipment, personnel and aircraft to CRK for the eventual transfer of several flights here.
The OOSS houses 16 agencies and is internet-connected, said Alexander Cauguiran, officer in charge of the Clark International Airport Corp. Tonette Orejas, Inquirer Central Luzon
