WORLD Health Day was moved from July 22 to every third Monday of September by virtue of Proclamation No. 144 signed on Aug. 2, 1963, by then President Diosdado Macapagal to coincide with the observation of Medicine Week every fourth week of September. Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
