4 Isabela policemen get 60-day suspension for assaulting fireman

CAMP MELCHOR DELA CRUZ, Gamu, Isabela – Four Isabela police officers have been suspended for 60 days without pay for a grave misconduct charge, after they allegedly assaulted a fire protection officer in Naguilian, Isabela.

PO3 Laomar Lavarinto, PO2 Winston John Alejandro, PO2 Daryl Espiritu and PO2 Paolo Niccolo reportedly manhandled Fire Officer 1 Feliciano Aquino of the Naguilian fire station on May 15, 2015 following an argument.

The local fire station operates near the police station.
