At least 2 persons injured in explosion in Kidapawan City
KIDAPAWAN CITY—At least two persons were injured in an explosion here on Friday evening.
Supt. Leo Ajero, the city police chief, said the explosion took place inside Dumacon Compound along Alim Street here around 7 p.m.
Ajero said a cylinder tank suddenly exploded while a balloon vendor was pouring a molten mixture of aluminum wire and caustic soda in it.

Three houses were also partially damaged by the flying debris.
Some of the debris, Ajero said, landed some 200 meters away from the explosion site.
