MANILA — Company driver no more?

A 54-year-old company driver from Quezon City who has been betting for 20 years won the P50 million in the Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw last Aug. 28.

His winning numbers 02-03-12-15-20-22 were the combination of the birthdates of his family members.

After placing a P40 bet, his favorite digits since 1996 were chosen.

Claiming his prize at the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office in Mandaluyong last Sept. 2, he told PCSO General Manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II he would be investing in a transportation business—which probably would end his career as driver.

The  lone winner also expressed plans to buy a new house and lot for his wife and four children, help his needy siblings and save the rest of his winnings for future needs.  SFM
