Armed men fail to topple NGCP power pylon in North Cotabato

KIDAPAWAN CITY – Unidentified armed men tried but failed to topple a power pylon in North Cotabato around 6 p.m. Saturday.

Supt. Bernard Tayong, spokesperson for North Cotabato police, said the pylon was in Barangay Kitulaan in Carmen town.


He said bomb experts were sent to the area to investigate and to determine the type of bomb used in the attempt to topple the steel tower of the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines.
