SUBIC, Zambales—The Subic police arrested the town’s top drug suspect during a buy-bust operation on Friday night.
Maria Ruby Chavez, 31, was arrested in Barangay (village) Calapacuan at 9 p.m., said PO3 Roel Manalo, investigator at Subic police station.
Chavez was at the top on the municipality’s drug list, police said.
Police seized from the suspect five plastic sachets containing alleged “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and the marked money used by police undercover agents.
