Midwife dies, two hurt in Cagayan car crash
TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines—A 41-year-old midwife was killed in a Friday car crash (Sept. 2) that injured her husband and their 15-year-old son in Buguey town, police said.
Roshell Rizaba, 41, died when the vehicle driven by her husband Benedicto smashed onto a tree in Tabbac village.
Benedicto, a 44-year-old village councilor, had lost control of the steering wheel when he tried to maneuver through a road curve, police said. The family was brought to a hospital but Roshell was declared dead on arrival. They were driving to Santa Ana town.
