MANILA — Three illegal drug suspects were killed on separate instances in the provinces of Batangas and Camarines Sur, on Monday and Tuesday, police said on Wednesday.

In Batangas City, a vulcanizing shop owner, who was included on the police’s drug watch list, was shot and killed by unidentified men on Tuesday night.

Supt. Barnard Danie Dasugo, city police chief, said Jordan Pagcaliwagan, 24, was in his vulcanizing shop in Barangay Sorosoro Ilaya when he was attacked by gunmen on board a motorcycle at 6:30 p.m.

Pagcaliwagan died while being taken to the Batangas Medical Center, police said.

In Camarines Sur, Senior Insp. Maria Louisa Calubaquib, information officer of the Bicol regional police, said Vida Magistrado died in a shootout with policemen conducting a drug bust in Pili town on Monday night.

Calubaquib said Magistrado was ranked second on the police’s drug watch list in Pili.

She said Jesus Goronal, of Buhi town, drew his firearm after he noticed that he was dealing with police agents also on Monday. This prompted the police to fire back, hitting and killing Goronal.  SFM
