CABARROGUIS, Quirino — The former municipal veterinarian of Diffun town and his 26-year-old girlfriend were arrested on Sunday night (August 28) after they sold two sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) to a police undercover agent in Aglipay, Quirino.

Alexander Cabe and Apple Grace Mones were caught with the narcotic and the P1,000 marked bill used in the operation, said Senior Insp. Gary Macadangdang, Aglipay police chief.

Diffun Mayor Marlo Guillermo said Cabe resigned on August 15, and was facing an administrative complaint before the Civil Service Commission for absences without official leave.

Earlier, Cabe surrendered to the police along with confessed drug users and drug peddlers in Quirino province. SFM
